Technology
The Domeniile Davidescu winery employs innovative technologies in the production of the finest wines in Moldova, sourced from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza vineyard in the region with protected geographical indication, situated in the southernmost part of the Republic of Moldova.
We place a strong emphasis on the quality of hand-picked and carefully selected grapes, originating from old vines that are over 40 years old, as well as on classic winemaking methods with a focus on innovation and modernism.
We have an Italian Bertolaso wine bottling line in use, a renowned European manufacturer with a rich tradition. An essential role in perfecting the taste quality of the wines is played by the maturation process in oak barrels, during which the wines clarify and acquire their full flavor.
We have chosen French oak barrels from “Seguin Moreau,” “Frenesit,” “Mercier,” and “Tonnellerie Nadalié,” which provide the wines with velvety tannins and distinct aromas.
The uniqueness of Domeniile Davidescu wines lies in:
- Bottling according to European quality standards to preserve the flavor.
- The use of nitrogen during wine bottling to prevent oxidation in the bottle.
- Fermentation of white wines at controlled temperatures by wine experts, providing a unique taste and intense aromas.
After manual harvesting and sorting, the grapes are brought to the Domeniile Davidescu winery, equipped with modern machinery and state-of-the-art equipment for crafting excellent wines!
This ensures a perfect final product that can be marketed and then enjoyed among your loved ones.
